Learn how to prepare an original Austrian apple strudel. During this class, you will be guided by our experienced chef. You will be asked to fully partake in all the stages of preparation. Activities such as marinating the apples and stretching out the pastry can be a lot of fun.   In addition to the apple strudel program, participants get the chance to try their hands at one of the most famous and spectacular desserts in Salzburg- the Salzburger Nockerl. The airy and light soufflé mirrors Salzburg’s baroque atmosphere, whose essence is captured in a baked good that can’t be separated from the city’s origin. The program also includes a traditional goulash soup for lunch which will be served before you get your own baked creations (vegetarian/vegan lunch option also available).

Experience a guided beer & food pairing nestled within the quaint and elegant walls of Salzburgs historic Mönchsberg. Taste the flavorful and bursting dishes that make up traditional Austrian cuisine as they meld seamlessly with Austrian craft & traditional beer specialties. All pairings will be guided by a professional beer sommelier with the intention of providing you with a rich and unforgettable culinary experience.

 The dinner cooking class is entirely dedicated to Austrian cuisine and music. Every participant will shape their own traditional Salzburg pretzel which will later be served as their appetizer. For the main course we will cook a traditional farmer’s dish - Austrian speck dumplings (for vegetarians we do cheese dumplings.) For dessert, roll up your sleeves to create the most popular Austrian dessert - the apple strudel. To make sure you have both a traditional and an unforgettable Austrian dining experience, you will be treated to timeless musical classics from Mozart, the Sound of Music, and more from our soprano Alina.
